- Unit C Functions Notes. Study pp. 1-7 (Grade 11 Applied Review, the first 20 pages is acttually just Grade 11 Applied which few students have actually completed! So a bit of effort involved)
- Assgt C-1 Prior Studies Review of Functions and Relations [Due: in class 22 Feb]
- Assgt C-2 Graphing Interest (again). Recall how we used to do it the last 25 years on a Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator. Now we use DESMOS. A little hands on with that ‘old’ TI-83 graphing tool which some schools still use.
Useful Resources:
- Reminder! We will be using the DESMOS Graphing tool a lot. Get comfortable with it now. Use it in the browser. Also available for down load in Google Play and Apple Store.
- TVM Calculator. Notice we use the FnCalculator TVM (Time & Value of Money) App. It is available in browser, or as a download on Google Play or Apple Store.
- Feeling Brave?. Subscribe to my YouTube Channel. Get Videos hot of the press at 5 am!
- Quiz Debriefs Playlist. I assemble all quiz debriefs into one YouTube Playlist; pretty much the entire course in 7 or 8 Videos eventually.
- Website Search Feature. Notice the website and blogs are searchable at the bottom of each page.
- Ensure you have a Decent Calculator. Link: Decent Calculator. A proper $16 Scientific Calculator from WALMART (NOT Staples) is way more useful than your phone or a Dollarama calculator.
- Grade 12 Applied Study Notes [‘Cheat Sheet’; Issued]. Students are expected to prepare their own eventually.
- Our Shared Daily Lessons File. Every Daily Lesson that is done on the interactive whiteboard! Also printed out at front of the class!
- Remote Learning/COVID Protocol. In the event students are stuck at home for a Brief period they are still expected to do the daily lessons and studies and submit work. See the related Remote and COVID Protocol and Student Policies and Procedures.
