B-10  Loan Repayment Table.  A table to calculate what your monthly payments will be to finance a large loan, like for a house. There are lots of Apps and websites that will tell you pretty much the same numbers.  Values in tables have been rounded off, so tables will not be quite as exact as an APP or a Spreadsheet.

B-13  Try this game of Battle Ship for Simple Interest

B-14  Try this on-line questions bank for Investments (Simple and Compound)

B-20  Loan Calculators at Banks.  Of course every bank will have a loan calculator and investment calculators !

B-15  Money Math. A great reference resource from NWT, an everyday math skills book.

B-16 TorStar – Your Money.  A good package from the Toronto Star about managing money.

B-17 Free Money! Unclaimed Balances. I love this website, every time I teach a math course one of the students finds money that some Aunt or Grand-Parent forgot about for more than 10 years! Search the Unclaimed Properties to see if one of your ancestors or friends, alive or not, has forgotten about some money!   Maybe you forgot to cash a government check!!  >>  Heck, you could make a business doing this, telling folks about money they forgot! My family found $13,000 of my grandma’s many years ago that she had hidden away.

B -18  Using Technology!  Let’s be realistic!   There is an App for almost everything you can install on your phone!  (of course there are hazards with that!)  And of course many apps have flaws and errors.  So being able to do calculations the ‘old’ way may still be important regardless!  Download and try this Time Value Money (TVM) App:

B-19  Compound Interest Calculator Excel Spreadsheet. Use an EXCEL spreadsheet to do a line by line display of compound interest!  Use Google Sheets, or Excel On-Line, etc.  Are you familiar with Spreadsheets?  Spreadsheets manipulate numbers easily and readily.
