13 Oct Grade 10 Essential Math.  Word of the day: Similar

Today’s Lesson(s).  Starting Unit E Trigonometry

  • Participate in my YouTube Live broadcast at 13:00 (by invite).  Then, wrap up at 15:20 if you need me.
  • Read and do Unit E Trigonometry Notes (issued yesterday) pp. 1 – 14.
  • Lesson Support Video(s).  Similar Triangles
    • Ohh Ohh !  Use those proportions again!!!
    • Lesson Worksheet:  Assgt E – 1 Similar Triangles.  You Do not have a print out of this, but you could easily copy the diagrams onto a blank piece of paper and do the solution.  Not due till Next Wednesday anyway.
Announcement(s)
  • Likely  we will be back in-class on Monday.  Stay tuned.  It is completely practicable to do this stuff on-line, but more onus on you for YOU to adapt your learning style.
  • If you want to collect hard copies you can briefly pop by the north entrance West Entrance (parking lot, hotel side)  and I will hand you stuff.  The college doors are locked however, I will have a door bell there at West Entrance! Shoot me an e-mail too if you are coming by at any some general time.
  • Math Mid-Term Take – Home Test.  The printed test was issued on Wednesday before the closure.  It is entirely possible to read it on line and answer the questions on blank paper (they we did it in the old days before photocopiers).  The Test is not due until Tuesday anyway, so lots of time anyway.  Movie: Doing Assignment without Hardcopy
