Finish Unit A with a Sex-Linked worksheet; see how mom gives her son baldness or colour blindness or diseases that a son cannot counteract with his shrimpy deficient Y Chromosome that his Dad gave him!
The quiz went somewhat OK, but only a 60% average though (but only 6 students wrote it!) Do not miss too many quizzes.
Unit C – Evolution. You were already issued the substantial reading package for Unit C Evolution. Here is most of it: Chapter 16.
Of course there is Unit C – Study Guide to focus your thoughts. And several worksheets to complete the next two weeks.
We already saw a quick movie about Evolution (11 Minutes) : How Evolution Works. We know how a couple can make babies having a variety of traits, but what if those traits are not good enough to survive!!?? Then those traits and alleles would slowly disappear (over a couple million years)! The population would evolve, make other species even!
