Good warmup on Solving Proportions. We will be using proportions over and over for triangles, consumer studies, scale drawings, transformations, and lots of other applications! Knowing that 5 bananas for $8 is the same ratio (comparison) as 12 bananas for $19.20 would be rather important if you are shopping!
We worked a bit on assignment CHARLIE -3 for those who inadvertently missed Friday. Tomorrow I will show you a more effective way to convert from one unit to another! Like how many minutes in a year!!??
And I threw some Unit A Problem Solving stuff at you! Assignment APLHA-1. Using the Guess and Check method to solve a problem. If you answer the questions properly and follow the instructions to solve the riddle, you will laugh your head off. SHOW YOUR work, and submit on separate paper!
